| I would like to use a room for a personal event. Messiah allows the use of rooms for personal use, provided there is no personal gain (e.g. we don't allow tupperware parties, etc.). Ministry programs and events have first priority and because of Sunday morning worship, we do not allow building use after 6:00 pm on Saturday evening. Scheduling is not done more than 3 months in advance, except for weddings. An Event Request Form is available in the Resources section of our web site. |
| Do you have a confirmation program? Messiah is different from most churches... We're not interested in adding names to our membership roster. We want your name written in God's book of life. In other words, is your eternal address heaven? We believe if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10 We offer DECLARATION, an opportunity to find out what it means to declare your faith in Jesus. If you have questions about baptism or the Lord’s supper, this is the place to find out what we believe. Seventh graders through adult are welcome to participate in Declaration. You choose when you want to declare; whether you’re in 7th grade or 107. (Parents are expected to participate with their kids.) Declaring your faith marks the beginning of a new life with Jesus and your plans to follow Him. |

| I want to be married at Messiah. Every wedding at Messiah is a worship service that will glorify God. Before being married, you must meet with a pastor. If you decide to be married at Messiah, plans for your wedding are made with a Wedding Coordinator. We have more information in our Wedding Guidelines, located in the Resources section of the web site. |
| Do the Board of Directors still meed once a month and if they do where can we get a copy of the minutes? Board of Directors usually meet the third Thursday of the month. The current members and minutes can be found by using the search feature of the website; search for "board." |

| Hi I volunteered on one of the trips to Biloxi to help with the Katrina relief and was wondering if the church will be providing assistance in rebuilding in Haiti. At this time Messiah is partnering with another church in Grand Rapids, Michigan to send teams on medical and disaster relief teams. A team will be leaving (Lord Willing) the week of January 25 for one week. The team will also access the damage to the mission buildings. More relief teams may follow. From that point we will know more and begin the process of accessing what might be done in the area of construction. For more information contact mission Kurt Weber, Pastor of Missions. |
